Digital Local Government Program

The Australian Government will provide up to $17.1 million over three years to provide assistance to local governments in each of the 40 communities that will first benefit from the NBN.

The Digital Local Government program will assist local governments to deliver innovative online services with a particular focus on delivery to homes and businesses. The program aims to develop solutions which are replicable and scalable. This will facilitate their further use by local governments across Australia, potentially leading to a step change in the quality, availability and speed of local government services.
