  • Construction of the NBN optic fibre network is underway or completed in more than 40 communities.
  • More than 3.5 million homes, schools, hospitals and businesses will gain access to NBN optic fibre services under NBN Co’s first three year rollout plan.
  • NBN Co has started trials of its high-speed fixed wireless service to five regional areas.
  • NBN Co has launched an interim satellite service to provide eligible rural and regional Australians with immediate access to better broadband.
