NBN Co Limited has released a 12-month fibre rollout schedule for the NBN.

The schedule lists the locations around the country where the fibre network rollout is scheduled to begin construction before September 2012, marking the beginning of the volume NBN rollout to Australian premises.

By September 2012 NBN Co will have started construction on a high-speed fibre network to nearly half a million Australian premises.

The schedule includes 28 newly-released sites across the country as well as extensions to the fibre footprints of suburbs and towns where construction is already underway or services are already being provided.
